I suffer from Meniere’s disease, which affects my hearing and balance. It makes me a bit over-cautious when riding outdoors. But this season, after committing to adding strength and yoga to my winter and spring training, I have noticed a big difference. I take corners at speed where I used to slow down, and don’t feel the need to unclip for narrow or extra tight turns like I did before.
I could feel my balance improving as I kept at the strength and yoga videos, but it is really nice to see that showing on the road. It really helps!
